Meet Waffles!
Waffles is an American Miniature Horse who stands at 30" tall! She's little and lovable but is also definitely the one who runs the show around here. Katie personally adopted Waffles through a friend of a friend who used her as a broodmare for several years, this past summer of 2018, Waffles had a very difficult pregnancy almost resulting in a miscarriage. Due to this circumstance they no longer wished to breed her and began searching for her new home. Waffles is currently our "spokes horse" for the rescue and joins us at local awareness events and parades. She is also in further training to become a therapy mini to take to children's hospitals and elderly homes. Waffles fits right in with the family and will continue to live her life to the fullest here and go on to help people of all ages!
