Meet WIllow!
Willow is one of the cutest and friendliest faces out there! Willow came to our program in June 2020 along with her mother Riley (grey and white paint) after we had been put in contact with their previous caretaker who was looking after them for a dear friend who passed from cancer. They have been loved their whole lives but just ended up in a tough spot trying to find a place to land. Riley and Willow were available for adoption together however Riley unexpectedly became very ill during her time with us. She was under very close and urgent veterinary care however after exhausting all our options we had to make the very difficult decision to put Riley to sleep. We had a very peaceful send off for Riley in her final moments with us. Her daughter Willow was by her side every step of the way and was heartbroken when she had to leave us. Waffles, our permanent miniature resident at Kataluna, really stepped up to help ease Willows grief. Since then Willow and Waffles have become such a bonded pair and we have decided to make Willow one of our permanent residents as well, to let her live out her days with her newly found family. Every day she shows us more and more of her loving and outgoing personality! Welcome sweet Willow!
