Lacey
Lacey is a 29 year old Tennessee Walking Horse mare who has been loved on basically her entire life. Unfortunately Lacey fell upon hard times when her elderly owner had to give her up, and we were contacted by a wonderful family who was desperately searching for a home for Lacey on a time crunch. If we believe in anything here at Kataluna, miracles is definitely one of them. The amazingly wonderful family who adopted Winona (the 20 year old Tennessee walking mare who had ovarian cancer) also decided after some consideration they would like to adopt and bring in Lacey to their family to be companions with Winona. It has been quite a happy ending for this sweet family and we couldn’t have pictured a better outcome.
