Fire is a super sweet and beautiful fifteen year old red dun mare who lives up to her name! She is a been there done that horse with a lot of training under her belt, standing at 15.2 hands tall, who is looking for her next person to partner with in life!
In April 2020, Kataluna was contacted asking about the possibility of helping find a home for this gorgeous girl. Her current humans loved her dearly, however had to come to the decision of letting her go. Because we had space at the time we were happy to step in and help Fire on her journey of finding her next partner!
She came to our program shortly after Roo (who have since become a bonded pair) and loves to work and learn. This horse is someone who seems to want a job, as she gets bored easily but when her brain is moving shes the happiest most willing girl in the world! She has experience with all level riders, had logged over 500 miles in trails, done obstacles including bridges, rushing water, rocky terrain, etc. she has worked cattle, has a VERY smooth walk, trot, and canter and is just a wonderful all around horse who just needs a person to love. Fire is looking for an intermediate rider as she cane be a bit spicy for someone less knowledgeable.
Fire also has registration papers for the American Paint Association.
Fire was adopted to a wonderful home in September 2020 where she will be oved and used mainly as a family trail riding horse!
