Bailey.   This sweet girl is a roughly 17-20 year-old, 14.1hh Haflinger mare who we believe was started at a younger age but mostly has been a broodmare in recent years. She cam to our program in April and is finally ready to find her life partner! Baile would do best in an intermediate level home as she needs a calm confident person to look towards. She has been doing great on her groundwork and ground manners, goes for walks down the road by bikes, cars and dogs and solo ventured down to the river without an issue or a single call to another horse. She has been wearing a saddle and slowly undergoing a confidence building restart, but we have not ridden her yet, just due to taking our time. She is happy and healthy, all green lights from our vet and is up to date on her vaccines, deworming, farrier care, dentals, etc. She is a brave girl but lacks confidence, so that is what we are helping her find.

Henry and Hudson are two of the sweetest gentle giants you will meet. They both come from ex amish country and have worked a lifetime serving long days. Henry is an early twenties, 17hh Belgian gelding and Hudson is a late twenties, 17hh Draft Mule. They are very closely bonded and we would love to see these boys end up in a retirement home together to live out their best days. Kataluna is also very open to Henry and Hudson living as retirement foster equines if that is something a very special person would like to open up their home to.  coming from amish life these boys do require an experienced home and a set of stock for their hoof trims. 

Hiccup is a 15hh 10 year old Grulla gelding who came from a neglect case in Texas before he was going to ship to slaughter. He was extremely emaciated, covered in fungus, rain rot, and burrs, and petrified of people. Hiccup has come a long way physically and is making beautiful progress, however he is still very guarded and needing time to come around. Hiccup is getting people engagement daily and hands on work several days a week working on his confidence and bravery, but as of right now still needs a partner who is experienced and ready to continue to help Hiccup grow and regain his confidence.
