All Horses are up to date on vaccines, deworming, dentals if needed, farrier care, and any other veterinary work that was necessary during their time here. All in-tact males will be castrated here as well before moving to their new homes.
Our "Current Adoptable Horses" on this webpage are not always up to date on the most recent intakes. Please feel free to send us a message if you are looking for a specific horse in particular! Thanks!

Petey is a roughly 5-7 year old 12hh black and white pinto pony gelding. He is very sweet but shy and timid working on learning to come out of his shell. Petey was brought in to Kataluna as an owner surrender recently so we will be working on his training and updating his medical history. He is halter broke, friendly, and would make a great little project partner for someone!

Henry and Hudson are two of the sweetest gentle giants you will meet. They both come from ex amish country and have worked a lifetime serving long days. Henry is a early twenties, 17hh Belgian gelding and Hudson is a late twenties, 17hh Draft Mule. They are very closely bonded and we would love to see these boys end up in a retirement home together to live out their best days. Kataluna is also very open to Henry and Hudson living as retirement foster equines if that is something a very special person would like to open up their home to. Its hard not to fall in love with these two!

Mojo is *not* quite ready for his adoption yet, however he will be joining our adoptable herd soon. Mojo came into Kataluna with a pretty massive leg injury that we have been working to heal over the last few weeks. He is making fantastic progress and should have a full recovery to eventually get back into being a riding horse. He has the best personality, absolutely adores attention from his people, and gets along really well with other horses. He is a roughly 18 year old 15hh sorrel Quarter Horse gelding.

Hiccup is a 15hh 10 year old Grulla gelding who came from a neglect case in Texas before he was going to ship to slaughter. He was extremely emaciated, covered in fungus, rain rot, and burrs, and petrified of people. Hiccup has come a long way physically and is making beautiful progress, however he is still very guarded and needing time to come around. Hiccups is getting people engagement daily and hands on work several days a week working on his confidence and bravery, but as of right now still needs a partner who is experienced and ready to continue to help Hiccup grow and regain his confidence.
If you're interested in one of our currently adoptable animals, please start by submitting the information below and attaching photos of the area your new equine would be living! This is also a great place to request to be on a waitlist for any incoming horses or donkeys.
THANK YOU! We can't wait to connect!
